Take a tour through Southwest culture at the Heard Museum, located at the intersection of Paradise Lane and Civic Center Plaza in Surprise. Witness performers and artists practicing as they would in their native tribe. Enjoy inter-active displays for kids, workshops in native arts, and storytelling for young and old.

Cliff Garrett Memorial Rodeo has been going on for 51 years and counting. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come watch the wild rodeo fun, but have to be employees of Arizona divisions of AiResearch/Garrett/AlliedSignal/Honeywell companies. The rodeo runs in late October and admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children, age six to twelve. The proceeds benefit Arizona charities.
