Visiting the Pioneer Living History Village gives you the chance to explore life like it was during the 1800s in the region. The authentic buildings are filled with staff in authentic clothing who live like the pioneers did. The museum hosts special reproductions throughout the year.

At nearly 1200 acres, Thunderbird Park is the largest public park in Glendale, and it’s a fantastic place for residents to enjoy outdoor activities. There are picnic areas, trails for horseback riding, hiking and biking, and three viewing blinds where visitors can see some of the park’s 50 different wildlife species.
